24th January 2012

Netcom win 3 projects to be completed during the February half term. The projects include Ruckus wireless installation at Nothgate Primary School, herts. Multiple Smartboard installations at Hawkswood School, North London. Projector and IWB upgrades at Little Pardon Primary School, Harlow. See here for updates once completed.

Netcom lauch our new ICT website. After several weeks of designing we launched our completely new website. The idea is to showcase our range of services and highlight the excellent level of service and products we have been offering the education industry over the last 20 years.

10th January 2012

Netcom start the new year with a bang. Netcom design, build and develop a brand new media lab for Hockerill Anglo European College, Herts. The project included our versatile desks as the school wanted to use the room for both ICT use and non ICT use. The school are delighted with the end product. Netcom start designing our new ICT website. The new site will be launched during Janurary 2012 and we hope every school that finds the site will find it informative and usefull. See news for updates

10th December 2011

Netcom have just finished a very busy few weeks with the completion of two large complete ICT suite projects. The schools we worked with were All Saints Federation, South London and Pilgrims Way Primary, Canterbury. Both these projects included the re-lcoation of the schools main ICT suite. The school's wanted to move their suites to larger rooms to expand to 30 computers one for each pupil. Netcom have a great deal of experiance in projects of this nature which is why they opted for Netcom. Both schools are delighted with the finished results and the students enjoy usign thier own PC's during the ICT lessons.

1st December 2011

Netcom win large IWB re-fresh contract with Bishop Stortford College. This project will include upgrading the IWB, projectors and audio solutions in 65 classrooms. The project will take 12 months to complete as each phase will take place during non term time. The college's existing equipment will be entered into our re-use scheme and distributed to our local schools. See news for future project updates.

10th November

Netcom start work with Waltham Forest Council to upgrade fibre links within a number of their schools. Netcom have worked with the council in a number of schools providing them with nearly all of our services and products.

15th October 2011

Netcom win contract to re-furbish a complete ICT suite at St Bartholomews Primary school. This project will include cat5e data cabling, electrical cabling, ICT Desking, Smartboard solution and air conditioning. The school wanted a company who could complete the entire project to ensure the project was completed within a tight timescale and within a limited budget.

2nd October 2011

Netcom start work on phase 3 of complete site wireless at Hockerill Anglo European College. This project has envolved a great deal of planning and once stage 3 in complete the site will have aournd 80% complete site coverage using our Ruckus solution.

Summer 2011

Netcom completed one of our busiest summers on record. We completed mutilple complete ICT suite installations along with major network upgrades and IWB projects. Netcom assigned a contracts manager to every installation to ensure we completed every project on time. Here is a selection of school we worked with during the summer:

3rd June 2011

Netcom win order to supply versatile desking to St Faiths School, Cambridge. The school required versatile furniture as the room selected would be used for multiple uses. They choose Netcom due to design, service and price.

10th May 2011

Netcom win contract to supply secure ICT furniture to probation offices located in Guildford and Surrey. The furniture is required to deter theft and vandalism.

27th April 2011

Netcom begin second stage of upgrading ICT furniture at Shooters Hill College, South London. This will be the college's 4th and 5th ICT suite we have upgraded with our secure ICT desking.

10th April 2011

Netcom start work on upgrading fibre backbone at Mossbourne Academy, Hackney. Mossbourne have been a customer of ours for many years in which time we have supplied them with a number of our services.

17th March 2011

Netcom win contract to re-fresh IWB's and projectors at Emerson Park Academy in Hornchurch, Essex. This project will be a staged installation which is to be completed by the end of 2011.

2nd March 2011

Netcom complete full ICT Desk installation at Thurrock Pupil Referral unit. The desks now provide a much better teaching space and offer 24 hour security for the schools newly purchased Dell computers.

22nd Feb 2011

Netcom have this week completed a full Interactive Whiteboard Solution at a school in the Waltham Forest borough. The solution included a full Smartboard package along with the latest ultra short throw technology.

25th Feb 2011

Netcom have today completed a wireless test solution within a highly regarded Hertfordshire high school. The idea of this is to provide the school with a trial of the wireless solution which is to be deployed across the campus throughout summer 2011.

2nd March 2011

Netcom have now completed a full ICT desk solution at a primary school in Basildon. The requirement was to provide security and a space saving floor plan. This was achieved by using our secure desking products and our accurate CAD design service.

7th March 2011

Netcom begin design and build process for the first Olympic Games 2012 consisting of a test event at the 2011 BUPA marathon. Netcom will be providing fibre optic and cat5e cabling throughout the test event and main games 2012.

15th March 2011

Netcom begin tender and design phase with Waltham Forest Council. The project inlcudes the development of mutiple primary schools throughtout the borough during 2011/2012. Check here again for exciting new project updates.

23rd March 2011

Netcom complete a full ICT desk solution at local Essex primary school. The requirement was to create an exciting new teaching environment whilst increasing seating capacity by 50%. This was achieved by a completely new room design along with double student desks for space saving and cost reduction. The security aspects of our desks have now giving the school 24 security of their new PC hardware.

1st April 2011

Netcom start work with a London academy's new fibre network upgrade. The network requires additional fibre upgrades due to the increased usage of the schools band width and wireless technologies. The academy has been a customer of Netcom's for many years and this upgrade comes after massive development of the sites infrastructure and ICT requirements. This fibre backbone upgrade will happen alongside the installation of a large number of new cat5e data points located around the site.

11th April 2011

Netcom start work on several large school projects which are to be completed during the Easter break. Easter is always a busy period for us at Netcom and this year will be no different. Projects range from full ICT suite re-fits and builds, networking installations including copper and fibre, digital signage, wireless installations and wireless demo configuration.
